Bring the music you own. Tell us what works and what needs fixing.

A thank-you that lasts.

Our 100 beta testers who help test MusicX and share feedback will receive the full app and all subscription features free for life when MusicX launches.

Use your own music, try the features that matter to you, and tell us honestly what works and what needs fixing.

Your music, in a new player.

Browse your albums, build playlists and listen from local files, an iCloud music folder or a reachable SMB/NAS library. Keep selected music downloaded for offline listening, adjust the EQ, and edit your collection’s artwork and details.

On Mac, try importing and exporting music with supported USB players, or play and rip audio CDs with a compatible drive.

What happens next?

  1. Send your request here. Choose your device and leave an email address. No need to write an email yourself.
  2. Look for your private invitation. We’ll confirm compatibility and availability, then invite you through Apple’s TestFlight.
  3. Listen and share honest feedback. Setup, browsing, playback and everyday use all matter. No public review or positive rating is required.
Do I need to pay to test?

No. The designated TestFlight beta builds include Full Access without a purchase. The 100 testers who help us test and share feedback will also receive lifetime Full Access free when the app launches, including all subscription features.

Do I need my own music?

Yes. MusicX plays the music files you supply; it does not include a streaming catalog. You can use local files, a selected iCloud music folder or a reachable SMB/NAS server. Lyrics can come from your files or plain text and LRC files you import.

Which devices can I test?

This beta is for iPhone, iPad and Mac. You can include your model and system version in the optional notes to help us check compatibility. Android is under development, and Apple TV is not part of this beta.

What happens when the app launches?

The 100 testers who help test MusicX and share feedback will receive lifetime Full Access free at launch, including the full app and all subscription features.

Places are limited, and sending a request does not guarantee an invitation. Keep a backup of your music while testing.
